The flex work environment has become a standard practice in the current workplace. This could be largely attributed to COVID-19 restricting employees to stay home, but also to the increase in convenience and ease from higher technology. Depending on who you ask, some may say remote work has been a positive change, while others are trying their hardest to get higher percentages of employees to be back in the office. In this panel, our panelists will explore the challenges and opportunities they have faced via flex work environments, what they have learned, and how they potentially view the future in this regard.

AJ Diakon is a senior consultant on Crowe’s Financial Services Technology Internal Audit (IA) team. AJ graduated Lehigh University in 2020 with a major in Business Information Systems and a certificate in Business Analytics. AJ’s current team sits within the Consulting Business Unit and works with financial institutions to perform independent reviews of the governance and use of technologies and cybersecurity. At Crowe, AJ is involved with recruiting, engagement, and onboarding.
Alex Godoy: Payment Partnerships at Google
Alex is on the Payments Partnerships team at Google where he manages Google's relationship with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Alex works with these partners to help improve how Google accepts payments, along with enabling a better experience for users of Google Wallet and GPay. Before Google Alex worked at Mastercard and EY.

Lisa Routel: Marketing Strategy Lead at Verizon
Lisa is a Marketing Strategy Executive with experience developing and executing integrated, omni-channel marketing campaigns and strategies within industries spanning from telecom, automotive, media, and retail. In her current role, she is responsible for leading communications, promotions, and member experiences for Verizon Up, Verizon’s award-winning loyalty program.
Priya Bhatnagar: Operations Analyst at Morgan Stanley

Priya started her career in Tax Operations at Morgan Stanley upon graduating from Lehigh in 2022. In her role, Priya has been working to help provide accurate tax documentation to clients as well as the firm while streamlining daily team responsibilities. At Morgan Stanley, Priya is involved in the Women’s Network and the Asian Network.
Meet the Moderator: Mary Senior
Mary Brush Senior is the founder and principal consultant of MCB Enterprises. MCB Enterprises provides information technology project management and technology communication consulting services, primarily in the pharmaceutical space. MCB Enterprises clients have included Teva Pharmaceuticals, the City of Philadelphia, and Curia Global, formerly AMRI. In 2020, Mary returned to Lehigh as an adjunct lecturer for the College of Business in the Rauch Center for Business Communications, where she teaches Business Communication I and II.
