Our Mission
Women in Business (WiB) at Lehigh University is an organization that seeks to promote our members’ personal and professional development by engaging them in activities and workshops that support business skills and etiquette. WiB is the collective voice for all students entering the workplace that will encourage and foster effective leadership. We seek to instill confidence in women and men at Lehigh University to face challenges in the workplace after graduation. Our goal is to aid our members in career direction by sustaining relationships and fostering a supportive environment to address significant topics. While the WiB focuses on the business field, we have events that apply to all women and men entering the workplace throughout the year. Some of our events include Young Alumni Panels, company visits, company information sessions and industry information sessions.
What We've Achieved
Annual Spring Conference 2022 (The Power of You: Creating and Defining Your Path) with over 150 attendees which gave students the opportunity to network with alumni and our sponsors and hear from speakers of different backgrounds
Hosted several professional development workshops for our members in 2022-2023 school year (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PGIM Fixed Income)
